WHAT IS MANTABIN?

Mantabin is a smart, electrically powered, floating waste collection device designed to be installed in seas, ports, marinas and still waters.

Mantabin absorbs water from the surface with its integrated underwater pump with a capacity of 25.000 liters, and is pumped back to the water source while the waste is collected in the filter. Mantabin is a smart device that has the ability to position itself up and down thanks to its special sensors that automatically detect the water level. It can collect plastic, paper, metal and glass wastes, including micro plastics up to 2 mm on the sea surface. Mantabin has a capacity of 25 kg per day to collect surface waste.

WHERE IS MANTABIN USED?

Mantabin is designed for use in the sea, lake and river.

It can be used in all seas, lakes and rivers where the coastal strips and mantabins of areas such as piers, marinas, hotels, holiday villages, sites where vehicles such as ferries, motor, boats dock are fixed.

WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF MANTABIN?

It consists of Mantabin, electrical panel, fixing post, underwater pump and filter / waste collection reservoir. There are residual current relays on the electrical panel, plugged into a 220 Volt outlet. There is a shaft and motor on the fixing pole. The filter / garbage collection chamber consists of an underwater pump that can discharge 20,000 liters of water per hour and a filter / waste collection tank made of special fabric in a metal bucket.

After the wastes are absorbed from the surface, the sensors activate the underwater pump and send the filtered water back to its main source, so that the wastes remain in the garbage collection bag. Thanks to it, it eliminates by moving up and down.

  • The device is delivered to the end user in general terms.
  • The console and console fasteners of each device are specially produced where that device will be operated.
  • The assembly is done by Mantabin authorized service.
  • User training is given to the personnel who will use the device.
  • Mantabin waste collection reservoir should be checked twice a day by authorized personnel and emptied when necessary.
  • Mantabin should be cleaned at least once a month and checked regularly.
